In July I visited the area around Langres in France on the border of the Champagne and Franche Compte regions, staying in the small village of Charmes St Valbert.

White Stork - 1 flew over Lac de Vingeanne
Booted Eagle - 1 flew over Lac de Vingeanne
Honey Buzzard - 1 seen between Charmes St Valbert and Molay
Turtle Dove
Black Kites (Milan Noir - milvus migrans) were regularly seen over the lakes and over the river in Gray. One evening at least 12 were seen heading to roost at Lecey.
